Dr. Ke Zang is the founder, master instructor and operating director of Summit Tai Ji Academy (STA). He is trained in The Principles, a sixth generation inheritor of Wǔ Family Tai Ji Quan, formal disciple of world renown Tai Ji Grand-Master Mr. Zhong Zhen-Shan (钟振山). He is currently ranked Level 6 in Chinese Wu Shu. Dr. Zang also studied Yang Family Tai Ji Quan, Da Cheng Quan (Yi Quan) and other forms of Chinese Gong Fu for many years. Dr. Zang has been instructing Tai Ji Quan for over ten years. He enjoys inspiring others to improve their health and commit to long-term wellness and fitness goals. Dr. Zang is also a national board (NCCAOM) certified master acupuncturist and herbalist. He studied acupuncture, Tai Ji, bodywork and Chinese herbal medicine for 5 years at Liao Ning University for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Shenyang, China. He performed his residency and rotations for 5 years at Liao Ning Friendship Hospital before he became the Chief of Rehabilitation. He worked as Chief of Rehab for 4 years prior to coming to the U.S. In the U.S., Dr. Zang earned a doctorate degree in chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) and taught at Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at NYCC and AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, TX in the areas of Tai Ji, Qi Gong, TCM, and biomedicine. He also became the Clinical Coordinator at NYCC where he supervised and managed the acupuncture and herbal medicine clinics. Dr. Zang has been a professor and clinician for over 20 years. He is currently accredited by NCCAOM to instruct licensed acupuncturists for continuing education in the field of TCM.
